How to work from home effectively

With over 12 years of experience working from home (after getting laid off in 2008 during a similar world crisis), I wanted to film this video to help you if you're having to work from home or remotely for the first time, especially if you know you'll be doing this for a while. There are a ton of challenges you'll face working from home. How will you remain productive? How will you make sure you don't overwork yourself? How will you communicate with those around you, like kids, your partner or roommates? Now with the current situation - with coronavirus I wanted to make a video that was relevant to the climate of the world - we’re all stuck at home and we’re having to work from home. For some of us, this isn’t new - for me for example, I've been doing this for the last 4 years. So I have a good sense of how to effectively work from home. But in all honesty, being stuck within the 4 walls of your home and not being allowed to go outside - that’s truly tough - whether you’re used to working from home or not. But if this is a new experience for you, I have 6 tips that will help you to be more focused, productive and motivated while working from home.
