Health Check for Everyone
In the last 4 years of research in Vietnam, Social Health Revolution (VSHR) found that there are very limited facilities for preventing measurement such as - health checks for orphanages, old home, students. So VSHR has started this project called - 'Health check for everyone' the purpose of Health check for everyone is to provide health checks without any fees and follow the health check report to take supportive initiates to resolve their issues. For example: if our health check project finds an orphan who has an eye vision problem, then VSHR will source a glass for that orphan for better eye vision of that orphan. If an orphan has a lagging in health knowledge, this project will provide health education to enlighten him/her and so on.
Next Level of the Project
On one side, Vietnamese people are hardly going to a health check hospital and otherwise, a large number of Vietnamese solutions are away from the regular health check facility. To solve this problem we have designed the next stage of this project as "Be your own Doctor". To support this project we are working strategy is the following:
- On one side, we will train the community in a way so they will be able to do their common disease health screening by themselves
- Leverage our Healthcare Book project, which is a health awareness platform, so the community always can learn about the knowledge to prevent the disease as well.
How have we progressed?
Our team went through different districts all around Saigon and interviewed people in different age groups. Now the team is consolidating those inputs and the next step of this project is to publish a white paper to identify the inputs for the next stage of this project.
