VSHR Genius Upskill program consists of five courses. You are able to apply for one or more than one courses at a time. Here are the five courses:
First Aid Hero Factory: It's a practical learning model based on first aid training 2 - 3 months long courses. Live and Love: It's a practical learning model based on a 2 - 3 month childcare training course to become a junior childcare advisor. Share for life: It's a practical learning model based on a 2 - 3 month course to become junior nutrition advisor. Raise a Social Entrepreneur: It's a practical learning based on accelerator program to create capabilities inside you to build your own social enterprise or startup in 2 - 3 months of time. 4SRY: It's a practical learning based life and career planning program to create capabilities inside you to set the right goals in life. |

Have you ever wondered how to help someone in an emergency situation? By participating in the First Aid Program you will gain new knowledge and experiences that will be useful in your future life and career. Additionally, by possessing a First Aid certificate you will distinguish yourself from others and eventually stand out from the crowd when applying for a university or a job. The first Aid Talent Program enables you to develop the skills necessary to assist any person suffering from a sudden illness or injury.
This training covers topics such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation, hemostasis, burns, bone fracture, choking, and injuries from animals. Within this particular program, participants are trained by professional trainers that introduce them to techniques on how to safely and accurately proceed in emergency situations. |

By joining the Live and Love program, you will receive training about various childcare topics from experts (professional doctors). How was GUP Season 2018?We got almost 300 applications for Season 2019, and among them, after two rounds of selection, we awarded a total of around 60 scholars. Among the scholars, 70% Scholars were from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City.

1. Do I have to pay any fees to attend this training program?
Answer: This is a community Scholarship program to upskill you and help you to become a social champion. Based on your application and interview rounds, you will be awarded up to 100% scholarship for this training program. The scholarship is sponsored by Vietnam Social Health Revolution (VSHR).
2. May I register for more than one training program at a time?
Answer: YES, you can!
3. What are the addresses or locations of the master classes?
Answer: All the master classes will be hosted at the VSHR office and Oakwood Residence conference room facility at District 3.
4. Normally how long is this training program?
Answer: 3 - 4 months. The majority of master classes and practical sessions will take place on the weekends and off working hours.
5. May I retake a training program?
Answer: YES, you can!
6. Can I also become a VSHR member during this training program?
Answer: YES, you can! Submit your application here
7. Will I get a certificate after completing this training program?
Answer: You will be assessed during the whole training program, and based on that you will be awarded a certificate.
8. I am a VSHR member, am I eligible to join this program?
Answer: Yes, you are!
9. What is the language for the master class/workshop?
Answer: Vietnamese Language.
10. Will I receive a certificate after completing my training program?
Answer: Yes, you will receive an official certificate (with a red stamp) after successfully completing the program. Based on the performance of the training program and evaluation three types of certificates will be given. They are:
11. I am a foreigner living at HCMC, am I eligible to join this training course?
Answer: Yes, you are! This program is open to everyone. VSHR is an equal-opportunity organization.
12. Can I cancel my enrollment after the enrollment is done?
Answer: It really requires us to work a lot to process all the applications, interviews, selection steps, communication, etc. However, when scholars wish to cancel their enrollment after enrolling in the scholarship program, an application processing fee equivalent to 550K VND will be charged to the scholar. However, the good news is, if someone can't attend a particular intake after enrollment due to personal issues, they can move the enrollment to the next intake. We have two intakes in GUP scholarships each year. To move the enrollment please email [email protected]. The last date for moving enrollment is 3 weeks before the intake's first workshop.
13. Can I move my one-course scholarship to another course?
Answer: Each of the courses is run by the individual program teams, who closely assess and award the scholarship based on the performance of the scholars during their selection process. So after awarding the scholarship for one course, that can't be a move to another course. However, a scholar can get scholarships for multiple courses in the same season. So we highly recommend potential scholars to apply for multiple programs.
