VSHR vision a day when every person at any time, anywhere, will be able to get first aid support and care without any cost. To make that vision VSHR has created this Scholarship Program First Aid Hero Factory. VSHR Youth Academy Organized this scholar program and with that mission, and vision VSHR Academy gave 100% scholarship to 15 scholars to turn in a social champions.  And VSHR Academy is committed to organizing this scholarship every year until the vision is completed.

What are your options in VSHR Genius Upskill Program?

VSHR Genius Upskill program consists of there courses.  You are applying for one or more than one courses at a time. Here are the four courses: 

First Aid Hero Factory: It's a work-integrated first aid training course and it's open to all students.

Live and Love: It's a work-integrated childcare training course and it's open only to medicine and pharmaceutical students.

Share for life: It's a work-integrated training course to become a junior nutrition advisor and it's open only to medicine and pharmaceutical students.

Raise a Social Entrepreneur: It's a practical training program to create capabilities inside you to build your own social enterprise or startup.

How was GUP Season 2018?

We got almost 300 applications for Season 2019, and among them, after two rounds of selection, we awarded a total of around 60 scholars. Among the scholars, 70% Scholars were from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City.

VSHR Scholarship For GUP Scholars

 Each course's fee is 10 M VND. The great news is, VSHR Scholarship Fund will provide 1,000,000,000 (1 B) VND valued scholarship among the selected scholars for season 2019. There are two key selection steps for the scholarship:

• Step 1: Application Screening Round
• Step 2: Interview Round

Based on the performance of those steps whole scholarship fund will be given to GUP scholars. And scholarship amount will be awarded based on their performance on those two steps. Example - range from 80% to 100% Scholarship award to cover the course fees. 

Read this Useful Information!

1. Do I have to pay any fees to attend this training program?
Answer: This is a community Scholarship program to upskill you and help you to become a social champion. Based on your application and interview rounds, you will be awarded up to 100% scholarship for this training program. The scholarship is sponsored by Vietnam Social Health Revolution (VSHR). 

2. May I register for more than one training program at a time?
Answer: YES, you can!

3. What are the addresses or locations of the master classes?
Answer: All the master classes will be hosted at the VSHR office and Oakwood Residence conference room facility at District 3.

4. Normally how long is this training program?
Answer: 3 - 4 months. The majority of master classes and practical sessions will take place on the weekends and off working hours.

5. May I retake a training program?
Answer: YES, you can!

6. Can I also become a VSHR member during this training program?
Answer: YES, you can! Submit your application here

​7. Will I get a certificate after completing this training program?
Answer: You will be assessed during the whole training program, and based on that you will be awarded a certificate.

8. I am a VSHR member, am I eligible to join this program?
Answer: Yes, you are!

9. What is the language for the master class/workshop?
Answer: Vietnamese Language. 

10. Will I receive a certificate after completing my training program?
Answer: Yes, you will receive an official certificate (with a red stamp) after successfully completing the program. Based on the performance of the training program and evaluation three types of certificates will be given. They are:

• High Distinction Certificate (with Red round stamp)
• Distinction Certificate (with Red round stamp)
• ​Pass Certificate 

No certificate for someone who completed the training program but failed to scope requires a credit point. Credit points are given based on - attendance, contribution, research skills, practical session, assignments, and trainer's feedback. 

11. I am a foreigner living at HCMC, am I eligible to join this training course?
Answer: Yes, you are! This program is open to everyone. VSHR is an equal-opportunity organization.
