Case Study 1: I am a pharmacist
I am a pharmacist. I am a medical representative for a company. But I want to be a Product Manager. But all the work I do in my company DOES NOT give me the skills to develop product management skills such as - public relations, marketing, brand planning, leadership, design tools, etc. I can get all those skills while I work on a social organization on my weekend time or off time. So in the next one or more years, I will have related experience, skills, and project work which get the opportunity to become a Product Manager.

How are you preparing for your next career steps?
Most of the employees have almost no opportunity to learn their supervisor's roles. There is a big lack of people development support all over the Vietnamese industry. On the other hand, 20% of young professionals are taking post-graduate studies but still facing a hard time implementing that into their work.
We have designed this program to offer the next level leadership role, which is aligned with your career path, to mentor you, and to let you practice in real-life projects to prepare yourself for your career's next level. You will have practical work experience, master sessions, and performance evaluation/feedback. All the sessions are during the weekend, so you will be doing your normal job as well. Last year, VSHR did a pilot of this program and helped a handful of scholars get promoted in their jobs and realigned with their careers. This year, we will accommodate 20 - 30 scholars of this program to develop their careers. It's your turn now! |
